The image we portray to the public helps to validate our professionalism. We lead by example. To help facilitate the continued growth of inline skating, we as professionals provide quality inline skate instruction that promotes safety, fun and learning.

Safety

Is helping students with protective gear, showing them how to wear and use their skates and,Instructor Mark most of all, using common sense while skating.

Fun

Is a very important element of skate instruction. It encompasses monitoring the student’s performance and breaking down barriers of fear thus creating a constructive environment for the needs and goals of the beginning skater.

Learning

Encompasses the teaching techniques and styles that help students achieve their inline skating goals.

Mark is one of only two level 3 ICP master instructors examiners currently in the UK. He has a vast amount of teaching experience and has had the privilege of teaching many of people from complete beginners to skate, many of whom are now some of the UK's top skaters and ICP qualified instructors.

We hope our website will become the first stop for information on the UK skate scene. We have a broad selection of links to other skating related sites, videos and photographs. We also keep a long list of skills that we can teach, each with a video so that you can learn the names of the things you know how to do or those that you want to learn.

Combined with our newsletters, Facebook group, and Syndicate contentRSS/Atom feed, and the new, community-driven directory of skate-(un)friendly places in London, you can find out what's happening with skateinstructor.com and the skate community as a whole.
