I never dreamt that after 3 lessons with Mark that I would be able to take to the streets and not wipe out completely! My first attempt at rollerblading involved hiring skates from the Club Blue Room Skate Shop at Marble Arch, rushing to the park, sitting on the grass to get kitted out -discovering that I could not get up.and asking a random passing man if he minded picking me up. He obliged, and I promptly fell over - took the blades off and went home

Lessons have made the world of difference. I have been on an absolute high since the skate!!!

!! Thanks!!!! Cindy

Ps. From a medical point- Yay for skating! = Good cardiovascular fun out doors that works up a sweat, kills your glutes, and makes you happy for the rest of the week -it's got to be good!!!!

Having taken just 3 weeks of lessons with Mark, I am now able to skate forwards and backwards, mount and dismount curbs and safely navigate roads. Mark's lessons are great fun and a really good introduction to the skating family of Hyde Park's Albert Memorial!

As a fabulous instructor, Mark, no doubt had the success of delivering me 100%, in relation to my profound hearing loss. He adapted very well according to my specific needs as his lessons were very well planned through out. A very enjoyable experience indeed!!!!

Mark will shatter your attention with his dashing looks, naughty smile, and that twinkle in his eye, only to refocus you at exactly the right moment and make you do things on your skates you never thought you were capable of. A true genius. I learned more in a one to one lesson than  two or three lessons in a group. Plus, you get to have him all to yourself.

Mark is both a talented and proficient skater and a highly competent instructor, and after many lessons with him I now consider him a great friend. The one day beginners to intermediate class in particular is an exceptional start for any aspiring skater, an ideal springboard to all the tricks and skills that Mark performs so deftly and had me conquering in no time. I am completely addicted to inline skating now and I only have Mark to blame! I've lost weight, feel fitter than I have in ages and the buzz I get from learning a new skill each week is second to none – thanks loads!

I took the one day beginners to intermediate class with Mark and Matthew. It was a small class with two instructors and great value with Mark teaching and Matthew demonstrating. I would recommend it to anyone really wanting to get started with street skating. Everyone learned a lot and improved and we covered all the important stuff. It was safe, fun and very well taught.

I had a great day. Mark is very motivating and he makes you feel like you want to fly on your rollerblades. Hard work and no time to think. Better than meditation. I want to learn more and drop London transports.

In my stop start attempts to skate over a period of years I have had a number of teachers. Mark stands head and shoulders above the rest. His instruction is clear and well thought out and each move is broken down into easy to understand parts. His enthusiasm for skating and teaching and his high level of expertise makes for a highly enjoyable and rewarding lesson!

I started inline skating as a mid-life challenge! Instructor Mark was excellent; supportive, patient and challenging as appropriate. I'm a GP and find skating a really good, non-impact, aerobic and co-ordination developing exercise. As an added bonus skaters generally are a friendly bunch and the various group skates are great fun and not too difficult after a few lessons.
