Saturday Practice Club is all about getting together and practising with other skaters at the same level as you and to make progressing less challenging as well as loads of fun.

The park can often be an intimidating place to come to with so many good skaters around, and so many spectators, especially in the summer months.

Taking private Rollerblade skate lessons is the best way to learn how to skate well and put you at ease.

Our ICP instructors are among some of the highest qualified and experienced in the UK. Mark is an ICP level 3 master instructor which is the highest level attainable.

Whilst our courses cater for teaching specific skills to groups of people, giving you the chance to mix with other skaters of similar skills, our private lessons give you, and your friends, a chance to progress at your own pace, towards your own goals as well as having lot of fun.

Skate Personal TrainerFitness expert, Linda will help you to stay in shape with an all over resistance workout

A fitness specific skating session will help you achieve your fitness goals in an interesting and fun way by using your own body weight, your skates or some simple fitness equipment

The focus on this type of session is on developing strength and conditioning rather than on learning specific skate skills. You will however improve your general balance and co-ordination on your skates and develop strength and endurance to benefit your skating or other sports generally

A private session will be specific to you and your particular goals, however a typical session might consist of:

 

Become a Skate Instructor

ICP InternationalICP Level 1 Certification

This level is the first certification for new instructors and teaches you the basics of teaching using the beginner skills syllabus.

The course consists of two components; a skating skills workshop held several weeks prior to the weekend course, and the weekend course itself. This lasts 2.5 days (Friday evening to Sunday evening).

The next weekend course in London will be on 14th – 16th May 2010. The skills session is on Saturday 17th April, 10.00am – 12.30pm. Please contact mark@skateinstructor.com if you wish to attend this class.
