SHAPE UP, IT'S ALL A SKATE OF MIND! - Get fit - Lose weight - Have fun - Save money - Live longer - Make friends!!!
London

Almost Everyone feels nervous and apprehensive when they first put on a pair of Rollerblade's. We specialise in putting you at ease and getting you skating quickly as well as having loads of fun at the same time!
If you are a beginner and can't stand up on your skates yet, if you can't stop, or if you are a more advanced skater and want to learn some cool stuff, you have come to the right place to learn from one of the UK's highest qualified ICP instructors.
Level 1 - Get starting and stopping on your skates
There's also something rather cool at the end of the lesson, but we'll tell you about that on the lesson...
Sunday Skate Club is all about getting together and practising with other skaters at the same level as you and to make progressing less challenging as well as loads of fun. The park can often be an intimidating place to come to with so many good skaters around, and so many spectators, especially in the summer months.
It's lead by ICP Level 3, Master Instructor Mark Davies who will be on hand to answer any of your questions, help you with your skills and whatever you're practising. Mark is also in the habit of throwing in some other cool stuff into these sessions.

PariSkate
Following four years of successful skate trips to Paris, 2009 will see Skateinstructor.com and Skatefresh going to Paris to skate the famous Friday night Pari-Roller street skate and enjoy a weekend of skating in one of the world's most skateable cities.
The "unbelievably smooth" streets of Paris form the backdrop to the weekend and the Friday street skate can have over 15,000 skaters participating each week! See the city on skates on Saturday and complete another street skate on Sunday.

They are two really great skills for any skater especially if you do any of London's street skates or use your skate to go pretty much anywhere, they are also two really great skills for hockey players.
The Lunge turn is essentially a Parallel Turn but you don't have to slow down so much to do it. In-fact it's exactly that, a speed turn.
This is a really lovely place to skate, it's next to Kensington Palace and the round pond. The road is smooth which is great for skating and there's lots of place to sit and relax.
Hyde Park Corner end of Serpentine Road.
Trafalgar Square is a great place to gather before going to a social skate.
The Albert Memorial is one of the best place in London to learn and practice skating
