Instructor MarkMark
London

Mark is one of only three level 3 ICP master inline skate instructors currently in the UK and one of a very small elite group of only ten in the world. He has a vast amount of teaching experience and has had the privilege of teaching thousands of people to skate over the years, many of them are now some of UK's top skaters and instructors.

Mark is also the UK ICP administrator and boasts that he can teach anyone to take their first backward skating steps in less than sixty seconds and if you don't believe him, he would be more than happy to take a little bet with you for charity!

Although Mark specializes in getting beginners skating quickly and safely he has also had the privilege, as one of only two instructor examiners in the UK to train some of the UK's other leading in-line skate instructors.

Tim, EastbourneTim
Eastbourne

Tim is Eastbourne's longest serving instructor. He qualified as an ICP IISA instructor back in 1995.

Tim has worked in the industry for many years as a director of a skate shop and the event coordinator for England's biggest skate festival since 1998. Additionally, Tim has coordinated skate holidays abroad and spent many years teaching in schools and running training programs for councils and businesses.

Tim has worked hard to build the skate scene in Eastbourne since 1995 and at some point or another has taught almost all of Eastbourne skaters. Some of these have progressed so far they have become instructors themselves and now teach on Eastbourne seafront too!

Skate Personal TrainerLinda
London

Linda has competed in numerous inline speed skating races and is also our resident fitness guru

Linda wants her students to learn safety but not to the point where it hinders experimentation.  At skateinstructor.com, our aim is to teach people the safest and least painful way to learn new skills.  Linda's teaching style reflects her experience in physical training.  For example she may often refer to which muscles you focus on or how to recruit them. She will also adapt easily to your goals and capabilities depending on whether gentle encouragement or tough challenges are required

Linda can also incorporate skating into a Personal Training session or Personal Training into a skate lesson
